The DisplayPort™ Interposer allows the user to probe all signals in the DisplayPort Interface. The Interposer passes all signals through from Standard Plug to Standard Receptacle allowing measurements to be made on “live” devices. Other features allow a variety of tests to be made in accordance with the DisplayPort Compliance Test Specifications.
Features:
Breaks out all signals for probing and measurement
Designed to minimize losses for high and low speed signals
Includes footprint for FuturePlus mid-bus probe logic analyzer interface
On-board load resistors for DP_PWR tests up to 1 Amp
DP_PWR can be interrupted to insert other circuitry
On-board resistor for DP_PWR_USER Configuration
On-board resistors for AUX Channel pullup/pulldown test
Buffered AUX Channel Outputs drive 50 Ohm loads
Comparator Output indicates AUX Channel direction i.e. Source or Sink transmission
AUX Channel can be set to bypass all buffer/comparator circuits for “straight-through” measurements
AUX Channel can be interrupted to insert other circuitry
Current Shunt for DP_PWR current measurements
Standard Plug to Standard Receptacle fixture allows clearance for adjacent connectors such as DVI
On-board circuits powered by USB (requires USB A to Mini B cable, included)
All USB signals brought to header for test automation
